Rotherham Show highlights: VIDEO

THERE was no shortage of things to see and experience for the tens of thousands who attended the Rotherham Show.

The weekend saw acts, exhibitions and displays from around the country join up with local talent and causes.

Spiritual home Clifton Park was the venue again after a year at Rawmarsh while the park was being renovated in 2009.

Rotherham Borough Council’s events and promotions manager, Marie Hayes, said: “It was a fantastic weekend, despite a couple of showers.

“It was brilliant to see the show back in Clifton Park. Thank you to everyone for coming and to all those involved in making the show happen.

“It was great that around 70,000 people came down to Clifton Park to enjoy the show over the two days.

“It really was a weekend to remember.”
