Rotherham readers bid to pick Man Booker Prize winner

Staff from Rotherham library service were chosen as one of six library reading groups nationwide who were to shadow the national literary competition.

This meant reading the six shortlisted titles in less than a month and choosing a winner. 

The event will see the library group reveal their winner and find out if their choice conforms to that of the actual judges in London! 

There will also be a book-related quiz, the chance to consign your most-loathed books to Room 101, the opportunity to save your most-loved ones as a Desert Island Read and the opportunity to talk to members of Rotherham's vibrant readers' group network.

Refreshments will also be available.
