Rotherham gardener's Chelsea Flower Show triumph

Prize-winning gardener Jamie Dunstan has scooped a top award at the Chelsea Flower Show.

The Braithwell-based garden designer dreamed up a display filled with previously-used items including industrial fans, an old prison door and an old safe.

The end result was Winds of Change, a seven by five metre garden which was declared the Best in Show in the Urban Garden category at the prestigious horticultural show in London this week.

A delighted Jamie said that he was “overwhelmed” by the award.

Moments after learning the results, he posted a Twitter message reading: “This all seems so unreal my brain is frazzled and I've almost lost my voice but I’m a very happy man.”
