Roads reopen after controlled explosion

POLICE have reopened roads and businesses after bomb disposal experts carried out a controlled explosion of a suspicious package.

The package was found on Temple Road, Templeborough, near Magna Science Adventure Centre, at around 8.45am this morning (Tuesday).

Sheffield Road, Templeborough, was closed between St Lawrence Road and the junction with Ickles Way until around 2pm.

Businesses within 200m of the package were evacuated along with attendees at a conference which was being held at Magna.
