Rawmarsh store to close doors

Sainsbury’s said its Local store in Thorogate would shut on June 4.

A spokesman said: “The decision to close a store is never taken lightly.

“We constantly review our estate to ensure we have the right stores in the right locations and we are proposing to close this branch in June.

“We will make every effort to support our colleagues in finding alternative roles within Sainsbury's wherever possible.”
