Man charged over stabbing incident
POLICE have charged a 23-year-old man in connection with an alleged stabbing in Edlington.
Aiden Rattigan, of Nelson Road, will appear before magistrates this morning charged with a Section 18 wounding offence and possession of an offensive weapon.
Emergency services were called at 10.45pm on Friday to reports of an assault at the Top Club in Bungalow Road, Edlington.
A 33-year-old man suffered puncture wounds to his back and was taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
