Both men,  whose victims were among children from Rotherham,  were also jointly charged with conspiracy to commit sexual activity with children.

The crimes dated back to 2005 and involved boys as young as 13.

The sentencing date on the admitted charges was confirmed last month after the Crown Prosecution Service informed the Crown Court it had decided not take the defendants to trial over a total of 14 other offences which they denied.
