Police technology on patrol

ABOUT 250 children will attend a school science day at Rotherham’s Liquid nightclub on Thursday.

Young person’s partnership officer Craig White will speak to youngsters about how South Yorkshire Police use technology.

Pc White said: “It’s great to be invited back and show the children how far policing  has come with regards to technology.

“Last year our session came out as one of the most enjoyable and informative, so we hope to do the same again and make it even better.”

As well as police technology, the children will also learn about the science found in a nightclub, such as how sound is recorded and the effect of dancing on the body.
