Police legal high warning

POLICE are warning people against using so-called legal highs.

The force is worried that because the substances are legal people may think they are safe when they are not.

Det Insp Sean Bird said: “I have serious concerns that people who take these drugs do not realise that they are not safe.

“Legal highs can carry the same health risks as taking illegal highs and the effects can be unpredictable and dangerous.

“Please do not take risks with your safety.”
