Police investigation on playing fields

A SECTION of a Rotherham playing field was sealed off today for police examination.

Officers taped off an area of Herringthorpe playing fields early this morning as a forensic team went to work.

Rumours were rife in the area about a possible murder or assault but no official information has been released by police.
