Police car crashes into lamppost during chase
A POLICE car crashed into a lamppost while it was involved in a chase.
A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said the car was in pursuit of a vehicle after it failed to stop for officers on Canklow Road at around 12.30pm on Thursday, November 24.
The police car collided with a lamppost near the junction with Centenary Way.
The spokesman said nobody was injured in the incident and car being pursued left the scene.
