Titans Mo-ve up charity table

RUGBY stars are hoping to get their fundraising campaign mo-ving by growing their facial hair.

Rotherham Titans players have started work on a range of moustaches for this year’s Movember drive in aid of Rotherham Cancer Care Centre.

Titans players will have sponsor sheets with a full range of moustaches on display from gangster-style to full on mutton chops, and there will be bucket collections at the club, including one at the home game against Nottingham on November 23.

The club is also hosting a Movember Ball on November 30.

Tickets are £10 with proceeds going to the Cancer Care Centre and the Mayor’s Charities and will include pea and pie supper, disco, moustache waxing and the awarding of the Currie Cup — named in honour of event organiser Simon Currie — for best moustache.
