Sheffield Mutual in three-year deal with Bluebell Wood

SOUTH Yorkshire savings society Sheffield Mutual has announced it will be backing the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice over the next three years.

The society is donating £15,000 split over the next three years to buy and maintaing medical equipment for the hospice.

Sheffield Mutual chief executive Tony Burdin said: “We have a long history of community involvement and we wanted to help good causes in the course of doing business, in line with our heritage and mutual ethos.”

Older people’s charity WRVS and Support Dogs, which trains animals to help disabled people, will also benefit from the same amount.
