Safiyha has hair chopped for Little Princess Trust charity
Two years ago, Safiyha (now 18) had a tumour in her throat removed.
During her time before and after her operation, she spent a lot of time around children who were suffering from cancer and couldn’t think of any better way of supporting them than donating them some of her long, flowing hair — 20 inches of it, to be precise.

Hide AdShe decided to help out Little Princess Trust, which provides real hair wigs to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland, and also managed to raise £200 in sponsorship.
Safiyha recruited student Rebecca Battison — who works at the Inspire Salon at the college — to perform the big snip.
She said afterwards: “I won’t have any trouble washing and taking care of it, now.
“It’s great my hair will be able to make someone else very happy.”
