'Quality' housing development is award winner

A SITE manager has won a housebuilding industry award for his work leading the construction team at a Rotherham housing development.

Redrow's James Barraclough (36) has been awarded a National House Building Council 'Pride in the Job Quality Award' for leading the team at Poppy Fields in Bramley.

The NHBC celebrates the very best UK site managers and their commitment to raising standards in housebuilding, with winners assessed across key areas including attention to detail, technical expertise and health and safety.

Poppy Fields, located off Moor Lane South, is part of Redrow’s award-winning 'Heritage Collection'.

Earlier this year Redrow held a competition for pupils from Bramley Grange Primary School and Ravenfield Primary Academy to name the streets at the new development.

Winning street names included Falcon Road, Dandelion Avenue, and Bloom Gardens.

The Quality Award winners will go on to compete for Seal of Excellence and Regional Awards in the autumn, with the national Supreme Award winners unveiled in January 2024.
