Pc Lyndsey's a bobby dazzler!

SPEEDY PC Lyndsey Eastman (25) was one of the fastest female runners in the London Marathon, coming home with a swift time of three hours 11 minutes and ten seconds.

The fleeted-footed Rawmarsh bobby, a serving PC in Wakefield, came 158th among woman runners and raised £2,000 for the charity Children with Cancer UK.

“The atmosphere is something until its experienced you cannot describe,” she said.

“There were people on every stretch of the road cheering you on and people giving sweets and fruit out.

“Their cheers really do carry you forward.

I am absolutely amazed with my time.

“I was the first women for my charity to cross the line and 158th women so for my first marathon I am some what proud to say the least.”
