Local business donate quilts for the needy
A LOGISTICS firm’s charitable fundraising efforts meant they could donate 140 quilts to keep families warm this winter.
Laura Askwith and Rhonda Ling, staff at Clipper in Hellaby, handed over the 10.5-tog bedding to Rotherham charity Families First.
Rhonda (left) handed over the haul to charity representative Ann Levick, who said: “They work tirelessly to work to raise funds from work colleagues to help families, and they also support the Christmas Toy Appeal.”
