Cancer Research on look-out for winter warmers
WINTER clothes and footwear are being sought by a charity to keep its stock levels high over the chilly season.
Cancer Research UK on Effingham Street needs good quality winter boots and shoes, coats and jackets and heavy knitwear and to keep up with demand they are appealing to everyone to dig out unworn or unwanted items and drop them off at the town centre shop.
The charity is also asking for items like DVDs, vinyl records, CDs and gift sets, especially items which would make good Christmas gifts.
