Animal grants charity wants to hear from Rotherham rehomers

A CHARITY which gives out grants to animal rehoming organisations is urging local causes to get in touch for a share of its funding.

Support Adoption For Pets’ new 2016 grant scheme has grants for £4,000 and £10,000 available.

The £4,000 grants are available through the Helping Paws Award and would go towards items such as microchips and scanners while the £10,000 grants are aimed at renovation projects.

Amy Wilson, charity manager at Support Adoption For Pets, said: “We want to appeal to as many rescues as possible in offering financial aid as every rehoming centre is hugely worthwhile, particularly in its local area.”
