Part of Rotherham bus station closed after incident

PART of Rotherham Interchange was cordoned off after an incident in which a man is believed to have fallen from the building. 

South Yorkshire Police said a cordon had been put in place at about 6pm.

Emergency services were called and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. 

There were not thought to be any suspicious circumstances, the police said.

Travel South Yorkshire said that Stands B and C at Rotherham Interchange were blocked off by officers.

The interchange was reopened at 8.30pm.

The travel service said there was no access to Rotherham Interchange from Drummond Street.
