Old folk hold last party after being turfed out of home
A CHRISTMAS party being held tomorrow will see elderly people say farewell to a Rotherham care home ordered to close on Friday.
Residents at Melton Court in Maltby were given just days to find new accommodation after it was ordered to close by the Care Quality Commission when it emerged the owner is in prison.
Families say they had only a week’s notice and the move will cause enormous suffering for their loved ones. They are now taking legal advice.
