New face on health governing body

Linda Tully has been appointed to the NHS Doncaster Clinical Commissioning Group’s (CCG) governing body, with responsibility for primary care.

She has previously worked in managerial roles within general practice and more recently at NHS Sheffield CCG as a commissioner leading a variety of service improvements.

Ms Tully said: “I’m very excited to begin this work in Doncaster. As a lay member, I aim to ensure that the organisation conducts itself with the highest level of integrity, making sure that local people are at the heart of all of the CCG’s decisions.”

The first meeting of the new governing body, held in public, takes place on Thursday, April 21 at Sovereign House, Heavens Walk, Doncaster.
