Motorcyclist dies after crash

A WOMAN died two days after the motorbike she was riding collided with a lamp post.

Gemma Louise Hall (33), from Swinton, died on Thursday, August 25 - two days after crashing her black Honda motorbike on Piccadilly Road, Swinton, near to the junction with Valley Road.

The bike was travelling towards Wentworth Road prior to the collision and police want to hear from anyone who saw what happened in the incident which happened at around 11.40am.

Police are also looking to speak to people who stopped at the scene to help, particularly the driver of a white car.

Anyone with information about the collision should call 101 quoting incident number 436 of August 23.
