More new homes for Manvers
NEARLY 100 more new homes have been given the go-ahead in one of the borough’s fastest growing areas.
The plan to develop behind the Aldi supermarket on Manvers Way, Manvers, is part of a bigger scheme bringing about 386 homes.
The Strata development for 93 houses is covered by outline permission also set to bring retail, leisure and food and drink facilities.

Hide AdDocuments that went before Rotherham Borough Council’s planning board said: “The mixed use nature is considered to enhance the local sustainability of the site by the providing housing, complementary retail facilities, leisure and employment on one site which reduces the need to travel and will help sustain existing and proposed local shops and services.”
