Man suffers smoke inhalation after accidental fire

A MAN suffered smoke inhalation after an accidental fire broke out at a property in Bolton-on-Dearne last night.

Two fire crews from Dearne and Adwick stations attended the blaze, believed to have started accidentally, at 9.35pm on Hawthorne Drive. 

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said: “One man suffered smoke inhalation and was left in the care of paramedics.

“The crews left the scene at 11.20pm.” 

Elsewhere in the borough, firefighters from Edlington station attended a deliberate skip fire at 4am on Doncaster Road, Denaby Main. 

The crew came away at 4.40am.
