Man held in Millers fans' flight fraud probe

POLICE have arrested a man in connection with an alleged fraud which saw Rotherham United fans lose more than £16,000 on a charter flight to their last away game of the season.

Lee Mills, the former landlord of the Hare and Hounds pub, on Wellgate, had sold more than 70 tickets for a flight to last Saturday’s game at Plymouth at £240 each after hatching the ambitious transport plan in January.

But early last week he left the pub and pulled the plug on the flight, allegedly leaving fans disappointed and out of pocket.
