M1 and M18 motorways to be closed overnight

The M18 southbound link to the M1 northbound will be closed overnight from Monday, January 9 to Friday, January 13 while works are carried out on a bridge.

Drivers using the M1 will also face delays next week.

The northbound carriageway will be closed between the exit and entry slip roads at junction 33 at Catcliffe on Wednesday, January 11 and Thursday, January 12.

The northbound entry slip road at junction 33 will be closed overnight on Saturday, January 14 and Sunday, January 15.

A closure of the southbound carriageway will be in place between the exit and entry slip roads at junction 33 on Monday, January 9.

It will also be closed between the exit and entry slip roads at junction 34 for Meadowhall on Wednesday, January 11.

And the southbound entry slip road at junction 33 will be closed on Tuesday, January 10 and Wednesday, January 11.

All closures will be place from 8pm until 6am and clearly signed diversions will be in place.
