Landmark Rotherham hotel on market

ONE of Rotherham’s best-known hotels has been put up for sale—with a £3.2 million price tag.

Estate agents Edward Symmons have been instructed by the administrators running Aston Hall Hotel to find a buyer for the grade II*-listed 18th century hotel.

Property guide Estates Gazette lists he hotel as a “high quality, design-lead country house hotel and wedding venue with 55 contemporary bedrooms, including six suites and three penthouses.”

It comes with four acres of land, with more land surrounding it also open for negotiation.

Aston Hall, which dates back to 1773, has been run by BDL Management since last year when operators Tomahawk went into administration.
