The Entrepreneur Exchange is part of Sheffield City Council's Enterprise programme, which has grown to a network of over 230 local entrepreneurs who are willing to share their knowledge, enthusiasm and experience with young people and budding entrepreneurs.

Over the last two years, the programme has introduced over 9,000 young people to local entrepreneurs, helping them to develop their enterprise skills and inspire them about the opportunity to set up and run their own business one day.

Many of the entrepreneurs also give their time to share their experiences with potential and new start up businesses. Jim's specific role will be to add to the 150 individuals who have benefited from this unique support so far.

Jackie Freeborn, chief executive of b&e, said: "Jim has a wealth of industry experience and a real flair for matching entrepreneurs with those that need their help."
