Inquest opened after park body discovery

AN INQUEST was opened after a woman’s body was found at Rother Valley Country Park.

Police made a public appeal to trace Fiona Corden (53) after she was reported missing from her Swallownest home last Thursday.

Her body was found at the park later that day and police officers have been supporting her family.

Police do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances around the death.

Assistant coroner Mr Mark Beresford opened an inquest at Doncaster on Wednesday. The hearing was adjourned until May for toxicology reports.
