A police spokesman said: “Officers are growing increasingly concerned for Mr Bevan’s welfare and his family say it is extremely out of character for him not to be in touch for this length of time, particularly on Mother’s Day too.”

Mr Bevan is described as having his left ear pierced, wears glasses and has dark hair and a beard.

He has a piercing in his bottom lip and a tattoo on his left arm saying ‘Remo.’ He was last seen wearing beige/brown coloured chinos, a white t-shirt, a large grey duffle type jacket and Nike boot style trainers in black and white.

Anyone with any information should contact police on 101, quoting incident number 979 of March 8.
