Get in touch for Carers' Right Day

A HEALTH trust wants carers to get in touch as it aims to mark a special occasion.

Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) staff are using social media to highlight the support the organisation can offer on Friday - which is Carers’ Rights Day.

Support across the Trust for carers ranges from drop-in sessions and support with carers’ assessments to holding tea parties for carers where they can receive support and meet others in the same situation as them.

The Trust also invites carers to talk to new staff so they are aware of how they can support them as well as the patients.

Cheryl Watkinson, RDaSH’s membership and engagement facilitator, said: “If you care for a loved one or friend who is a patient at RDaSH why don’t you get in touch with us. We want to work with carers to find out how we can support you better.”

Contact Cheryl by emailing [email protected] or telephoning 01302 798135.
