Fund-raiser Sadie jumps 15,000 foot for Thornberry

Animal lover Sadie Wilkinson, of Revell Close, East Herringthorpe, signed up to take the plunge for Thornberry Animal Sanctuary alongside colleagues at Queen Elizabeth High School in Gainsborough. 

And after completing the 15,000-foot descent, the euphoric 27-year-old said: “It was absolutely amazing.

“As soon as I landed on the ground I just wanted to go back up and do it again. It really was out of this world.

“It really was a brilliant experience.”

The challenge, inspired by ITV’s Im a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, in which celebrity contestants jump from an aircraft to begin their jungle adventure, Sadie’s challenge brought in £558.50 for the North Anston animal charity.
