Former Rotherham man charged with child sex offences

Duke Allen (42) is charged with two counts of child rape involving a boy and a girl, assaulting a girl under 13, sexual activity with a boy under 13, and inciting a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity.

The offences took place between 2009 and 2011.

Duke, formerly of Tennyson Road, Herringthorpe, told the court he was now of no fixed abode and did not enter a plea.

He was released on unconditional bail when he appeared before Magistrates on May 15 and the case was sent to Sheffield Crown Court, where is due to appear tomorrow (29).
