Foodbank gets Easter boost

A FOODBANK was given a timely boost at one of its busiest times by staff from a housing firm.

Keepmoat’s Wath branch donated a bootload of food and Easter treats to the Rotherham Foodbank after making a collection among staff.

Foodbank manager Danny Miller said: “We are so grateful to the staff at Keepmoat in Wath for this amazing support — the donations will make a huge difference to so many families in the Rotherham area over the Easter Holiday.”

Sarah Hopkinson, community engagement and investment co-ordinator for Keepmoat Homes, added: “I am overwhelmed with the response from colleagues to the Foodbank Project.”
