Foodbank donation "will make an enormous difference"

STAFF at a construction company have donated a huge hamper to Rotherham Foodbank.

Colleagues at Keepmoat’s Wath-upon-Dearne office gave 102 kg of food to the charity, which is based at the Hope Centre on Grove Road.

The firm also raised £98 selling raffle tickets, which bought even more food items.

“We really appreciate it and it will make an enormous difference to our ability to help people as the weather gets colder — especially given the 31 per cent increase in the number of people who have utilised the foodbank during this current financial year compared with 12 months ago.”
