First look at Rawmarsh 'community hub'
A NEW customer service centre aimed at becoming a community hub will throw open its doors for an open day next week ahead of its official opening five days later.
The public open day at the new Rawmarsh Customer Services Centre on Barber’s Avenue on Wednesday will give people the chance to look around the building where they will be able to pay bills and report problems from Monday, April 30.
The new centre also houses the new Rawmarsh Library, with the area’s community library having closed last Friday, and will be home to the Rawmarsh Health Centre GP Practice, which currently looks after some 4,000 patients.
The open day will be held between 10.30am and 6pm on Wednesday and will give the public the chance to meet staff.
