Fireworks contest goes with a bang
FIREWORKS celebrations came early last weekend as teams battled it out to put on the best display of big bangs and fantastic flashes.
Dinnington Rugby Club hosted the Galatic fireworks competition on Saturday, with six teams from around the UK — including last year’s winners from Felixstowe — given £800 to put on a seven-minute display.
Hundreds of spectators looked out during the contest, which was won by a local team called Team Top Gun.
