Fire crews rescue "four-legged friend" stuck in canal
FIRE crews had to don water rescue suits and use inflatable walkways to rescue a dog from a canal.
Crews from Edlington, Aston Park, Rotherham, and Dearne were called to rescue Buster after the incident near Kilnhurst Hall Farm at 6.45am on Sunday.
Congratulating the crews on rescuing the four-legged friend, South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said on social media that “good work from everyone involved meant he is now home and dry!”
