Fire crews deal with deliberate fires at Eastwood, Conisbrough, Thurnscoe and Denaby Main

BINS, rubbish and a vehicle were set alight in deliberate blazes dealt with by firefighters overnight.

Rotherham station attended a rubbish fire at 7.35pm yesterday on Eldon Road in Eastwood, followed by a vehicle fire at Cherry Brook, Eastwood, at midnight.

There was another rubbish fire at 2.15am on Hawthorne Grove in Conisbrough at 2.15am.

This was attended by Edlington station, who also went to Harlington Court at Denaby Main to deal with a wheelie bin on fire at 2.45am.

Dearne station firefighters were called to a bin fire on Kingsway in Thurnscoe at 3am.
