Ed Miliband heads Mexborough energy summit

It will take place tomorrow from 12.30pm at the Resource Centre on Dolcliffe Road.

The event is open to people living in all parts of Mr Miliband’s Doncaster North constituency.

He said he wanted to hear people’s experiences of rising energy prices and discuss what needs to be done to make sure energy is affordable and available for the long-term.

Mr Miliband said: “I know how people in Doncaster are struggling with the rising cost of living.

“We need to reform the energy market so it works for everyone and that’s why I’m holding this event.”
