Driver cut free by firefighters

FIREFIGHTERS had to cut a driver free from his car following a collision in Rotherham.

The man ended up trapped after a crash involving hid green Renault Laguna and a blue Ford Fiesta at 8pm on New Year’s Day.

Church Street at Wath was closed while firefighters performed the rescue. Police were informed.
