POLICE want to talk to these youths, captured on CCTV, about the theft of 12-year-old's bike.

The bicycle was pinched from a bike park in Sprotbrough on Sheffield Road on Sunday, October 24 at about 5.30pm.

Now officers want the public’s help in tracing the suspects shown on this CCTV image.

A police spokeswoman said: “A 12-year-old boy was on his bike with a couple of friends at the bike park, within the quarry off Sheffield Road, when he was approached by a group of older boys who threatened him before stealing his bike.

“The bike was later recovered on Warmsworth Road, Balby.

“CCTV has captured the suspect on the bike before it was recovered.”

Police are asking anyone who may recognise the men from the CCTV image to contact South Yorkshire Police on 0114 220 2020 quoting incident number 717 of October 24.
