Dispersal order to tackle Thurcroft antisocial behaviour
The order, which comes into force at 4pm today and runs until Saturday afternoon, gives officers power to direct anyone thought likely to be involved in anti-social behaviour away from the area.
It has been granted under the Antisocial behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014 and come after several of calls to South Yorkshire Police and Rotherham Council about anti-social behaviour in Thurcroft.

Hide AdSgt Sharon Hulley said: “We understand the effect it can have on residents when people act anti-socially in an area, and with this dispersal order we will be able to offer a swift respite for communities.
“I hope this order sends out a clear message to those choosing to behave in this manner that it will not be tolerated and we will continue to take action against antisocial behaviour.”
Anyone with concerns about trouble in Thurcroft or queries about the dispersal order should call police on 101 quoting incident number 353 of March 10.
