Diana Awards for campaigner Rebecca

THERE was double delight for anti-bullying and mental health campaigner Rebecca Parkin as she scooped a pair of Diana Awards.

The 18-year-old was among 75 inspirational young achievers honoured at the ceremony in Leeds.

The Diana Awards, are named after the late Princess of Wales and recognise inspirational or courageous children and young people.

Rebecca’s first award was for her work in the community tackling bullying, which she has experienced, and the stigma around autism. while the second recognised her efforts in improving mental health services for young people in Rotherham alongside the town’s Youth Cabinet.
