Woman flees Clifton kitchen fire
A WOMAN escaped a fire which was started by an overheating dishwasher at her home in Clifton on Sunday.
Flames were coming from the machine, which also gave of a lot of smoke in the incident in Gladys Street at around 5pm.
Firefighters arrived after the woman was alerted by a smoke alarm and she was able to leave the property safely.
