Two arrested after man stabbed in street
A POLICE investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed in broad daylight.
The man, who has not been named but was in his 40s, was found with stab wounds to his chest at 6.17pm on Tuesday in the Sussex Street area of Balby.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening, police confirmed.
A 42-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman were then arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in police custody.
