Trio wanted in connection with takeaway assault

POLICE want to speak to these people about a takeaway assault which left a man with serious facial injuries.

The 43-year-old victim was at a takeaway on High Street, Wombwell, when he was attacked by an unknown man at around 10.30pm on Saturday, October 15.

The man was left with a cracked cheekbone and eye injuries.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “The three people in the image may be able to provide vital information in connection to the assault and detectives would urge anyone who believes they may know them to please come forward.”
