Teenager threatened with knife during off-road bike robbery

A 13-year-old boy was threatened with a knife by two men who stole his off-road pit bike.

The teenager was pushing his bike along Upper Wortley Road, Thorpe Hesley, when he was approached by two men at around 9.25pm on March 14.

The bike is black and white and has a distinctive Monster energy logo on the frame and tank.

Police said one of the men was allegedly carrying a knife and threatened the boy before stealing his bike. 

He was white, 6ft tall, in his late teens and wearing a black and red Nike body warmer and a face covering.

The second man was wearing dark coloured, casual clothing. 

The two thieves rode away on the stolen bike along Droppingwell Road towards Shiregreen.

The boy was not injured but has been left shaken by the incident, police said.
