Teenager charged with burglary and vehicle thefts

A TEENAGER has appeared in court charged in connection with multiple reports of burglary and vehicle theft in Rotherham and Derbyshire.

Dylan Steele (18) was before Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on Saturday charged with seven counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary and six counts of theft of a motor vehicle.

Several charges relate to alleged burglaries and thefts reported in Bramley, Wickersley and Treeton in May and June this year.

The others relate to alleged burglaries and thefts reported in Dronfield, Derbyshire.

Steele, formerly of Water Slacks Close, Sheffield, was remanded in custody.

He will next appear before Sheffield Crown Court on Monday, July 24.
